The criteria
-
You do the work professionally
You've been paid to work in one of the specialties above, recently. Full-time, contract, freelance and internships all count, at any level from early career to VP.
-
Your work is public
You have a portfolio, case study or published writing that anyone can open without a password or an account, and you'll add 1 to 4 images of work you're allowed to share. Employers here judge evidence, so this is the one we never bend.
-
One piece shows your thinking
At least one piece explains the problem, what you decided or did, and what changed because of it. For research: the study, the finding and the decision it changed. For brand and visual work: the brief, the idea and the result.
-
The work is yours
You made it, or you say clearly which part you made. Team work is welcome. Concept projects are fine if they're labelled as concepts.
-
You're real and reachable
Your real name, a working email and a LinkedIn profile or personal site that matches the work. We never show your email to anyone.
-
You're open to hearing from employers
Available now or within the next 3 months, for full-time, part-time, contract or freelance work. We'll ask you once a month to confirm, with one click.
How review works
- We read every application ourselves, usually within a week.
- You'll hear back by email either way.
- If it's a "not yet", we'll say which criterion was missing. You can apply again whenever it's fixed.
- Paying for anything at UX Jobs, including Portfolio Cards, never skips review.
What we don't ask for
- Your salary, age or any other personal details beyond the form. A headshot is optional.
- A paid plan. There isn't one for designers.
